A five-star translation for Widder Hotel’s new website

Widder Hotel’s new-look web presence is a hit, with a modern design in five languages. Visitors are welcomed to the site by a 360-degree panoramic view of the Zurich Old Town, along with texts by Supertext.

The Widder Hotel, designed by Swiss architect Tilla Theus, is a masterpiece: listed buildings, a modern design and works by artists such as Andy Warhol combine to create a luxury hotel that truly deserves this description. Under the direction of managing couple Jan and Regula Brucker, the Widder Hotel is presenting itself to best effect, with its unique history, 15 Gault Millau points and new interactive website.

Zurich web agency Factory Design Labs designed the website, and the responsible Director of Marketing, Rene Bruggraber, wanted an experienced language services provider to handle the text.

“We tested numerous translation services in the run-up to our website project, but it soon became clear that Supertext was the best partner for us. Our top priority was maintaining the style of the individual texts in translation and ensuring that they expressed our uniqueness. Our new website is our online calling card and needs to stay up to date, so I’m looking forward to continuing to work with the Supertext team!” he says.

A large and complex project with translations into English, Arabic, Russian and Chinese – stylish, customer-oriented, and adapted to the cultural circumstances of Widder’s affluent guests. Supertext’s translations hit the right note.
